UPDATE: May 13th 2025
From May 23rd until May 30th, the AtlanticOER Pressbooks Network will be temporarily unavailable for maintenance and upgrading. During this time, Pressbooks users won’t be able to log into the Network, nor edit their books. Books that have already been published will still be freely available to read during this time.
What will be changing?
During this time, the domain name for the AtlanticOER Pressbooks Network will be changing from https://caul-cbua.pressbooks.pub to https://pressbooks.atlanticoer-relatlantique.ca.
We will also be consolidating different Pressbooks Networks across Atlantic Canada into a single Network. When the maintenance period is over, there will be more books on the Network.
What will happen to my book(s)?
Your books will remain the same as they appeared before the maintenance occurred. All that will change is part of the URL. The part of your current URL that appears after the back slash will be the same. For example:
https://caul-cbua.pressbooks.pub/examplebook would become https://pressbooks.atlanticoer-relatlantique.ca/examplebook
If someone tries to access your book using the old URL, they will be redirected to the book’s new webpage with a link.
What do I need to do to prepare?
Please ensure that you have completed any necessary work so that you do not need to log in and edit your book between May 23rd to May 27th.
Anyone wishing to read a book that has been published will still be able to during this time.
